Lull the World is my ongoing project, a protest against borders.
Lullabies have been sung to babies around the world for centuries. Mothers, regardless of their culture, skin colour, ethnicity have been holding or rocking their babies to sleep. I believe this is an incredible, universal act of love and connection. Songs full of care and empty of any egos. Songs that cary extreme pains and irrepressible hope for the future. Songs that carry history.
I collect lullabies from anyone who is happy to share them with me. I record them in a small room with a few instruments. I share them.
